About
One year ago, in April 2024, the news of “inappropriate adult relationships” Orange founder Reggie Joiner had, came to light resulting in his immediate resignation. Literally days after the news broke, at least one woman came forward to tell the Orange Board that the wording and phrasing as part of the public statement made was a gross misrepresentation of what actually happened. This was not about an affair. It was about much more. You can read her public statement, released April 2025, here.

Following the news breaking, current and former Orange staff waited to see what the leadership (primarily the Orange Board) would do to ensure the full truth would come to light, hopeful that extensive measures were being taken to protect identities, provide safety, and uncover potentially difficult and unsettling truths.
They waited and waited and to their disappointment, disgust, and shock, very little was done.

Now that one victim has decided to make her story public, more people are feeling the freedom to share their experiences. People who were in Reggie’s orbit and in the Orange world are coming forward. They aren’t all sexual abuse victims. But they are victims. This is their space. This for them to share what they have waited—in some cases years—to speak up about. This is so people who have felt silenced and confused and dismissed in any of the places Reggie worked and created can now feel safe, heard, and protected.

For those who wonder about the legitimacy of accusations, for those who wonder about the extent of the wrongdoing, for those who wonder how bad it really was: keep reading and decide for yourself.
